The Historical Collections at The Royal Veterinary College London, comprise not only a fine collection of historical books and a veterinary museum, but also many thousands of photographs, documents, manuscript items, artifacts and ephemera.
One of our most unusual treasures is a two volume postal collection. The Postal Collection of H. and W. Brown, printers and publishers (printers of The veterinary Record).
In the Spring of 1995, there was a correspondence on VETLIB-L about the receipt of wet copies of The Veterinary Record, and I thought that the following illustration, taken from the collection, may interest you!
| We are sorry not to be able to present a picture of the above mentionend illustration, but the printed version from the newsletter was not of good enough quality to be scanned. Perhaps we could get either a picture file or the original? |
